Official results of the European Parliament Staff Committee elections — 2023 ballot.

Our actions require courage and support!

1. Mobility - Transfer A more sensible mobility system would benefit the administration and many colleagues: increase voluntary transfers instead of forced mobility. So that part-time colleagues do not remain blocked in one post, services need to receive compensation as an incentive to hire them.

2. Promotion - Career prospects The RapNot should be simplified (maintain the interview but shorten reports). On the other hand, the current points system is satisfactory (career predictability and budgetary guarantee).

3. Working conditions & Well-being Adaptation to hybrid work. Telework: flexibility and possibility to work outside the place of employment for a limited time period. Facilitation of human contacts, "lunchtime courses" (Yoga, Tai chi, ...).

4. Allowances Missions: inflation adjustment! Commuting: request for "bicycle" indemnity, because purchase, maintenance, insurance... of bicycles constitutes a real cost!

5. Cost of living (Housing) Luxembourg The whole question of housing in Luxembourg remains a concern. A possible future reform of the Staff Regulations gives worrying prospects in this matter.

6. Harassment Prevention campaign.

7. Pension Application of C-366/21 — A new contract or an appointment cannot be considered a new hiring — or rejections of Art.90 justified with a non-decision in the matter. Beware of physically heavy jobs at 66 years old!

8. Persons with disabilities Ongoing work on inclusion and support for people with disabilities but also for colleagues who take care of them.

9. Political groups Attention to 2024 elections!

10. Administration of the future Yes to eDemocracy and eAdmin, but it must be implemented sensibly.

11. EU Civil Service Defence of competencies.

12. Revision of the Staff Regulations WARNING 2024/25! But SFP-Europa will pay attention.
